Following Rico Gado's long term partnership with Sonae Modelo Continente, one of the largest retail chains in Portugal, we were invited to take part in the 8th episode of their consumers' awareness TV program.
In this episode, Engº Miguel Serrão, Sonae's consultant, speaks with Engº David Constantino and our director Francisco Barreiro da Silva during his visit to one of Rico Gado extensive cattle farms located in Alentejo, Portugal´s South Region. There, we explained how we implement international best production practices always focused on guaranteeing the wellbeing of our animals, production sustainability and efficiency, and of course the best quality of Rico Gado Meat.
In the final part of the episode, chef Kiko, one of the most famous Portuguese Chefs, explains how to prepare a delicious recipe using the best quality meat, Rico Gado meat.
